VIY3-125 Ground Penetrating Radar

The VIY3-125 Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is used for location and analysis of underground objects using electromagnetic pulse radiation up to 15 meters depth. The VIY3-125 GPR is suitable for searching of both metal and dielectric objects (geological structures, pipes, voids, building constructions etc.).

Basic applications:

  • Research of geological structures;
  • Search for pipes and communication objects;
  • Examination of engineering construction (building basements, dams, etc.);
  • Investigation of man-caused accident areas;
  • Search for underground objects (voids, cracks, heterogeneous inclusions, fissuring rocks);
  • Search for underground constructions (underground passages, sewers, etc.);
  • Ground water level determination;
  • Subsurface deposits profiling;
  • Search for source of leakage from pipelines by indirect signs (excessive moisture).

  • Real time signal pre-processing (Online filtering)
  • Automatic-Calibrated online filters
  • Wide range of post processing filters
  • Increased dynamic range due to digital traces-stacking
  • High signal-to-noise ration due to innovative Telbin technology
  • Automatic recognition of connected antenna unit
  • Antenna to laptop connection through WiFi or USB
  • All GPR components (antennas system, electronic modules, battery, etc.) are assembled in a single case
  • No additional Control Unit. Any Windows-based computer (laptop) can be use to work with VIY3 GPR
  • Direct connecting of Measuring wheel and GPS to antenna unit
  • Low power consumption: not less than 8 hours of working session before next charging
  • Long-life sealed lead acid batteries permitted for air-carrying
  • Durable antenna body from fiberglass plastic

  • The VIY3-125 GPR set includes:

    Antenna unit
    Antenna unit with 125 MHz frequency is placed in a durable fiberglass housing. The unit has connectors to be connected to Data cable, to connect the measuring wheel and/or GPS receiver.

    VO-20 Measuring Wheel
    Measuring wheel (odometer) VO-20 was designed to determine passed distance during a GPR profile acquisition. Odometer can be mounted to the body of antenna unit and electrically connected to the antenna by special connector.

    • Calibration is not required;
    • Dust and mud protection;
    • Mounting to the antenna unit without any extra tools;
    • Compatible with all types of antenna units.

    Battery Charger
    Reliable, sealed charger for charging built-in battery.

    Data Cable
    The cable to connect antenna unit to USB port of your computer.

    Transport Belt

    User's Manual

    Durable and comfortable backpack for transportation of all components, except the antenna unit. It has many sections, including protected one for laptop.
