The latest VIY GPR of the Transient Technologies provides wireless connection of the computer to GPR. The wireless connection allows the operator feel himself comfortable while the antenna sounding a 10 meter high steep wall or descends a steep slope of the ravine.
WiFi has now been embedded in each model of VIY GPR’s: VIY3-125, VIY3-300, VIY3-500 and VIY3-700. All the named GPRs work with any computer that supports Windows. Odometer and GPS connect right to a GPR. GPR itself connects to a computer via WiFi or directly with a USB cable. Thus, a georadar antenna represents a complete monoblock georadar. The solution ensures that antenna and electronics are perfectly matched; the device is highly reliable and easy to operate.
The antennas cases are made of fiberglass. Time to prepare to work is minimal with no toggle switch. All antennas support various positioning devices: odometers and external GPS. The VIY GPRs VIY3-300, VIY3-500 and VIY3-700 can be towed or placed to a simple GPR cart.
Thanks to the standard USB connection and now the WiFi one, the user can choose any computer to work with VIY GPR. It can be either netbook, or modern models with a 12-core processor.
