Dear Colleagues! Transient Technologies has developed and mass-produced a new generation of GPR - VIY5. VIY5 GPR replaced the VIY3 series.

Instead of VIY3-500, now order VIY5-600

Ground penetrating radars VIY3 discontinued. Technical support and the supply of components for the VIY3 series do not stop.

The VIY3-500 Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) can be used for location and analysis of underground objects using electromagnetic pulse radiation, up to 4 meters depth (or medium thickness).
The VIY3-500 GPR is suitable for searching of both metallic and dielectric objects (pipes, communications, voids, building constructions, etc.).

Examination of engineering construction (building walls and basements, etc);
Search for reinforcement rods in building constructions;
Search for hidden and immured objects;

The VIY3-500 GPR set includes:

Antenna unit is placed in a durable fiberglass housing. The antenna unit has sockets to connect:

Battery Case
Battery case can be placed in backpack or mounted on the Cart-36 handcart.
The battery case has sockets to connect DP and Data cables.

Handcart Cart-36
Foldable handcart allows a single operator to carry out fast and easy survey of large areas.

VO-20 Measuring Wheel
Measuring wheel (odometer) VO-20 was designed to determine passed distance during a GPR profile acquisition. Odometer can be mounted to body of antenna unit and electrically connected to the antenna by special connector.
Main features:

Calibration is not required;
Dust and mud protection;
Mounting to an antenna unit without any extra tool;
Compatible with all types of antenna units.

Battery Charger
Reliable, sealed charger for charging a biult-in battery.

DP Cable
The cable that connects cable to connect antenna unit of VIY3-500 ground penetrating radar to battery case antenna unit to Battery box.

Data Cable
The cable that connects Battery box to USB port of your computer.
